Description of the product
Codosil™ ADHESIVE – soft layered product intended for the rehabilitation of scars including hypertrophied scars and keloids. The adhesive silicone layer is in direct contact with the scar surface.

Intended use:
- in rehabilitation of scars including hypertrophied and keloids
- as porphylaxis in people with hypertrophied and keloid tendencies
Codosil TM ADHESIVE and Codosil TM ADHESIVE Breast should not be used on surfaces with injured skin and in patients with dermatological disorders, with allergy to silicone making it impossible to apply this kind of product. In case of any doubts please consult a medical specialist.
It is recommended to adapt the scar gradually to contact with the dressing. The application time should be gradually increased.
The product is sold in non-sterile version.
The dressing should no be used with ointments, as they may damage its structure or cause allergic skin reactions.
Codosil TM ADHESIVE and Codosil TM ADHESIVE Breast should remain on the scar for up to 24 hours a day with breaks for cleaning. In order to maintain proper hygiene the dressing should be removed at least once every 12 hours, and the surface of the scar should be washed.
