Description:
Codubix® S ŻEBRA prosthesis for filling extensive defects in the chest wall are knitted of:
- polyester yarn- supplying sufficient strength against kinking and compression as well as surface spread
- polypropylene yarn- featuring low specific weight and low melting point which makes it possible to give the prosthesis adequate stiffness and hardness.
Prostheses for filling of extensive defects in the chest wall Codubix® S Ribs are offered in a sterile version.

Codubix® S Ribs allow to identify the prostheses as a natural bone due to their physical properties.
Indications:
Codubix® S Ribs knitted polypropylene-polyester prostheses are designed to fill chest wall fragments after the treatment of primary and metastatic tumours affecting this structure and infiltrating non-small cell lung cancer.
Application:
Prior to Codubix® S Ribs prosthesis implantation the following must be specified:
- size of the defect
- shape of the defect
- curvature adapted to patient's body
